Abstract

This research aims at studying the syllabic structure of nominal sentences in Arabic and to reveal the impact of this structure on guiding semantics through highlighting meaning. The importance of the study is subject to the importance of the nominal sentence as an expressive means of achieving stability and consistency in meaning. It also demonstrates the role of phonetic segmentation in highlighting the semantic structure of the text in addition to the harmony and coherence between the sentence components. The research adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, analyzing selected examples from the Quranic texts, specifically from Surah Al-Waqi'ah, to reveal the relationship between the phonetic structure of the nominal sentence and its impact on guiding meaning and enriching semantics. The study hypothesizes that the segmental structure contributes to the internal coherence of the text and shows an active role in highlighting semantic meanings, especially with the use of inversion, ellipsis, and repetition. This shows the impact of the nominal sentence and its role of expression.
