A Psychological Reading of Ghaib Tu'ma Farman's: The Sorrows of Mr. Ma'rouf

Abstract

Psychological studies are closely linked to literature, as they seek to uncover the inner dimensions of fictional characters and analyze their hidden feelings, thoughts, and motivations. Based on this connection between literature and psychology, the present study is a psychological study of the novel "The Sorrows of Mr. Ma'rouf". It focuses on the character of Mr. Ma'rouf, the central figure in the novel. The study explores Mr. Ma'rouf’s inner side attempting to understand his anxieties, feelings, and thoughts, as well as how Mr. Ma'rouf views life and the world around him.
