Abstract
The research aims to study the variation of land prices in Baqubah city, as the researcher relied on the field study by distributing a questionnaire form and the sample number was (1487) according to the number of families for each neighborhood, and a questionnaire was also approved and distributed to real estate offices with a number of (79) according to the number of residents for each neighborhood, and the average price per square meter in the city ranged (3,250,000) dinars/square meter for commercial use, which is the highest, and in second place for health use (2,900,000) dinars/square meter, and third for educational use (2,840,000) dinars/square meter, and fourth for recreational use (1,835,000) dinars/square meter, and fifth for industrial use (1,670,000) dinars/square meter, and the lowest price for residential use (1,081,000) dinars/square meter, and the reasons for the rise in prices varied, including the administrative factor of the city, which made it a commercial center as well, in addition to the change in land uses in the important streets of some neighborhoods in the city.
