Abstract

The concept of ideology is a communication tool for delivering a certain message, and this message, with all its vocabulary and meanings, occupies a significant space and high status among other messages. Ideology is an organized and defined idea that is presented in all fields and is defined along precise paths. It has a greater dimension than that; it is expansive and comprehensive, upon which all concepts rooted in making ideas the basis for the process of development and civilization are built. Each idea has a specific reference that the thinker returns to in order to build upon that idea. For instance, the references of political ideology have a political scope defined by the presence of political concepts related to the terms, principles, and rules of politics. This research aims to clarify the importance of those ideologies by presenting its most important sections, namely, satirical ideology in political, economic, social, and religious ideas. Given the wide presence of these types in the Book of Songs, I chose it to be the study sample, especially since the author of the Book of Songs is very interested in political topics, as most of his text choices are purely political. This is because the book was written in an era that witnessed many political upheavals, some of which came in a satirical style mocking political references such as kings, governors, rulers, judges, officials, and others.
