Abstract

Studies in the history of Southeast Asia are considered one of the important studies in the history of the region, due to its intertwined events and their overlap with the international conflict witnessed by the Cold War at that time, in addition to the fact that the effects of the events of Asian history are still evident to the present time, and from here the light was shed on the Vietnamese occupation of Democratic Kampuchea and the international position towards it in 1979, and the important effects it left during that period. From this standpoint came the idea that dealt with studying the international position towards the Vietnamese occupation of Democratic Kampuchea December 25, 1978_ January 26, 1979 in light of the publications of the Jordanian Al-Dustour newspaper, as the events of the subject were covered through the Jordanian Al-Dustour newspaper for those events in addition to other specialized sources.
