Abstract

The research aims to study and analyze the popular food industries in Qaraqosh city, diagnose the reasons for the deterioration of some of them and the continuation of others in competing with foreign goods, and anticipate the future of this industry in light of the rapid changes around us. The research problem also lies in analyzing and studying the popular food industries in Qaraqosh city as a current reality, given the dangerous stage of extinction it has reached. The importance of studying it is in consolidating the city's past with its present and linking it to the future. The study relied on the descriptive quantitative approach that depended on analyzing and calculating the research variables. The data was collected by preparing a questionnaire for a regular random sample that included 26 questionnaires for the year 2023, distributed to manufacturing families and homes, as well as personal interviews in addition to the desk study with the help of some sources related to the research topic and I took from the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs in preparing maps and reaching the most important conclusions.
