Abstract

The image of women in Arabic poetry occupied a large space, as poets were artistic in describing her charms, considering them a symbol of beauty, fertility, and life in contrast to the duality of death, annihilation, and barrenness. Poets often used the image of women to feel war, and from here the research sought to investigate this image in pre-Islamic and Islamic war poetry and the Umayyad perid A group of binary opposites in which women are the cornerstone, following the descriptive and analytical approach in extracting verses in which the image of women is used in war poetry and analyzing and studying them.
