Abstract

After the Mamluk state learned to unify the internal front of the Arab and Islamic world, it sought to gain the favor of the surrounding countries, in an attempt to establish the best political relations between it and those countries, because it was fully aware of the importance of the connection with those relations that were not at a uniform pace, and those relations also showed the political acumen that the Mamluk sultans followed in dealing with the emperors and kings of other countries, in which they placed the interest of their state in the first place in all political, economic and military aspects, and what they followed with those countries and powers and what was the nature of the relations that linked the two parties.
