Abstract

The current research aims to measure positive emotional effort among female teachers in primary schools in Diyala Governorate for the academic year 2020-2021. The current research is limited to female primary school teachers in daytime classes at government schools in the Baqubah District Center, affiliated with the Diyala Governorate Education Directorate, for the academic year 2020-2021. The sample included 40 schools. The statistical analysis sample consisted of 400 female teachers randomly selected from the research community. The researcher measured the teachers' positive emotional effort, which consisted of 33 items in its initial form. The scale was then presented to a group of judges in measurement, evaluation, and psychology to confirm apparent and construct validity. The final version of the scale, consisting of 30 items, was presented to the judges. The results of constructing a positive emotional effort scale among female teachers revealed a decrease in emotional effort. In light of the research findings, the researcher developed a set of recommendations and proposals.
