Abstract

Iraq has achieved great progress in political, military and economic development, especially after the nationalization of oil in 1972 and the expulsion of American companies from Iraq, which aroused the displeasure of the United States of America, which seeks to monopolize oil and achieve its interests in managing political affairs in the region and Iraq, both internally and externally, and to prevent any competing forces in this field. Following the Iraqi decision to exclude American companies from oil concessions, the United States decided to include Iraq in a plan to remove it from its positions of strength by following indirect policies and pushing it into wars of attrition to destroy its military and economic strength in order to achieve its endeavors and goals
