Social Biography and Career: From Banking to Politics Until 2005

Abstract

This research examines the social and professional biography of Fouad Siniora, tracing his career from banking to holding prominent political positions until 2005. It highlights his upbringing, education, and the influence of his social environment on shaping his personality, as well as his economic and administrative roles that paved the way for his entry into the political arena. The research reviews the financial policies and economic reforms he adopted during his tenure as Minister of Finance, as well as his close relationship with the late Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. The study aims to analyze the factors that contributed to Siniora's rise in the Lebanese political scene and assess his impact on Lebanon's economy and politics up until 2005.
