Abstract

This current study aims to analyze the Synoptic Characteristics, that are responsible for rain waves Occurrence in Iraq for consecutive (9) days. These rainfall event starts since (19) of March till (27th ) of March, 2026. All the daily data for rain were analyzed in (20) Meteorological stations distributed in different locations in Iraq. The Weather Maps analysis tests reveals of pressure level of (1000) (mb), that Sudan Atmospheric low is the most Atmospheric pressure system accompanied with heavy rainy days due to the repletion rate of (%44,6), followed by the Mediterranean Cyclone amounting to (%27,3), and the merged Atmospheric low rate is %17,3, while other rainfall events were created by the Siberian High in rate of (%10,8). This study concluded that rain quantities are vary in different stations. One of the stations in the city of Mosul registered the total amount of rain to (110,8) mm, the station of Kirkuk registered the amount of (149,8) millimeter, Tikrit station registered the amount of 130,8 mm, Haditha station registered the amount of (91,6) mm, Baghdad station registered the amount of (71,3), mm, Kut station registered the amount of (111,6), Ali Al-Gharbi station registered the amount of (75,4) mm, Najaf station the registered the amount of 47,0, and Basra station registered the amount of (56,8) mm.
