Abstract

This research explores the concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the perspective of the pioneering scientists who laid its foundation, most notably John McCarthy. The researcher examines this tool by highlighting the most significant advantages of AI that have facilitated daily life across all societies. Conversely, the study reviews the primary disadvantages resulting from the misuse of this technology and its negative impacts on the essence of social structures. Consequently, the researcher emphasizes the necessity for scholars and AI specialists to establish ethical frameworks to mitigate these drawbacks and their subsequent societal effects. A random sample of academics was selected using a questionnaire validated by experts with extensive experience in Educational Psychology and Teaching Methods. The results revealed statistically significant differences among faculty members based on their academic titles, with an F-value of (4.737) and a significance level of (0.006), which is less than (0.05). This confirms that these differences are not coincidental; rather, faculty members generally hold a positive view of AI, with a high-level mean estimate of (3.85). This indicates a growing awareness of the benefits of this technology.
