Abstract

The mining industry is one of the most important industrial activities concerned with extracting minerals and raw materials from the earth and converting them into primary or semi-finished materials for use in other industries. It is also considered one of the strategic industries that requires huge capital to carry out all its stages and obtain various raw materials, and it requires more efficiency and technology to facilitate the stages of production. This is what made it one of the public sector industries. The research model was represented in the General Company for Mining Industries, affiliated with the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals. Its geographical location was determined in Baghdad Governorate through an aerial photograph, as well as determining the location on the Baghdad Governorate map using GIS10.8.1. The company’s location in the Al-Tajiyat area, Engineering Inspection and Industrial Safety Department, was visited by the researcher to find out the type of medical examinations that the company conducts for its employees.
