Abstract

The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a strategy based on the VARK learning styles in improving the achievement of second intermediate grade students in Arabic grammar and developing their generative thinking. The researcher adopted an experimental research design. The study sample consisted of 64 students from Jamal Abdul Nasser Secondary School in the Baqubah District Center. The participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group of 33 students and a control group of 31 students. The experimental group was taught using the VARK learning styles-based strategy, whereas the control group received instruction through the conventional teaching method.
