Spatial variance analysis of population distribution in Baquba district for the period 1997-2024

Abstract

This research aims to study the spatial distribution of the population in Baquba District for the period between 1997 and 2024, relying on several data analysis methods as well as graphical representation of the study area. The research addressed the theoretical framework, which included the research problem, research hypothesis, research objective, methodology, and the spatial and temporal boundaries of the research. The second section addressed the geographical distribution of the population of Baquba District for the period (1997–2024), studying the population according to its administrative units, as well as the numerical and percentage distribution of the population and the environmental distribution of the population of Baquba District. The research also addressed population concentration measures in Baquba District, represented by the population concentration ratio.
