Abstract
The poetic lexion is a crucial source in poetic discourse, serving as a tool that unveils the poetic experience with percision. It is also the means by which aq poet's affiliation with their environment and relationship to it are defined. The poetic lexicon is exemplified in the selections of Abu-Albaqa' Al-Rundi in his book "Al-Wafi fi Nidham Al-Qawafi". These are the words that poets, throughout the ages, have carefully employed in their poems, becoming symbolic of stylistic achievements in poetic works across different ears.
This research focuses on studying the verbal structures that the poets of Al-Rundi's selections dedicatedly utilized in their poetic verses. It highlights word related to love and flirtation, words of praise, words of sadness and lamentation, and descriptive words. Poets employed these words in a manner that corresponds to the intended expression, portraying it with a style that imparts numerous connotations to the recipient's mind.
