First of all, the Ayyubids, in the eyes of historians and researchers, represented a new political and ideological situation, especially since their state was established in the wake of the Fatimid rule (297-567 AH / 909-1171 AD). It is represented by virtue of a new family that ruled the country for nearly eight decades, namely the Ayyubid family (567-648 AH / 1171-1250 AD).
Among the folds of the Crusader Islamic conflict on the lands of Egypt, the personality of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, the founder of the Ayyubid state, emerged, and this personality has an important place in Arab-Islamic history as the leader of the Islamic Front, and who we will see how reduced the Crusader area on the Arab map with regard to the Battle of Hattin (583 AH / 1187 CE), as well as Recovering the city of Jerusalem.
Of course, Salahuddin was the man of the stage, but rather the hero of that critical era in the nation's Islamic history
