Abstract

The current research aims to identify the relationship between comprehension empathy and internal knowledge among middle school students. The researcher relied on the descriptive correlational approach. The research community consisted of (81409) male and female students, from whom the researcher drew (400) using the equal random stratified method, with (200) male students and (200) female students. The researcher constructed the comprehension empathy scale and the internal knowledge scale, and verified the validity and reliability of the two tools. The research results showed a high level of comprehension empathy among middle school students, and a low level of internal knowledge. The results also showed an inverse relationship between comprehension empathy and internal knowledge among middle school students. The researcher presented a set of recommendations based on the results of the research. In continuation of the current research, the researcher presented a set of proposals.
