Abstract

The current research aims to identify (digital resilience among University students Diyala) and the significance of statistical differences in digital resilience on the gender variable (males - females). To achieve the research objectives, the researcher built a digital resilience scale according to the model (Haiyan, et, at 2022). The scale consisted of (20) paragraphs. The construct validity, apparent validity, and stability of the scale were verified by two methods: retesting. The stability coefficient reached (80, 0), while the stability coefficient of the tool using the Cronbach's alpha method reached (82, 0). The current research sample consisted of (400) male and female students, a basic sample of university students from the College of Education for Human Sciences for the morning study. The research sample was selected using the stratified random method with proportional distribution, and using the statistical package (SPSS) as a statistical tool to reach the following results: 1-The individuals in the research sample of university students possess high digital resilience, after comparing the arithmetic mean of the sample with the hypothetical mean of the community. 2-There are statistically significant differences on the digital resilience scale by gender (males - females), in favor of males. 3-There are statistically significant differences on the digital resilience scale by specialization (scientific - humanities), in favor of the scientific branch، In light of the results of the current research, the research came out with a number of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
