Spiritual competence among university students

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the spiritual competence of university students, the statistically significant differences in spiritual competence of university students according to the gender variable (males - females), the research sample consisted of (233) students from Diyala University, the sample was selected by the random stratified method and to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher built a spiritual competence scale, and the scale consists of (45) paragraphs, and the psychometric properties of apparent validity and construct validity were verified and its stability was verified, as the stability coefficient by the Cronbach's alpha method reached (0.93) and by the retest method (0.88), after processing the research data statistically using the statistical package (spss), and the researcher reached the following results: The sample members have spiritual competence compared to the theoretical average of the scale, and there are no statistically significant differences in spiritual competence according to the gender and specialization variables, and in light of these results, the researcher came out with a set of recommendations and proposals
