Abstract

Ethical dimensions encompass the human aspect and the extent to which an individual possesses good morals, combining honesty, self-denial, trustworthiness, dedication to work, and other noble actions. Artificial intelligence, on the other hand, is a set of technologies that can be combined to perform various types of tasks. Controlling AI user behavior in terms of human values, principles, and ethical dimensions can also play a role in ensuring that AI is developed and used in ways that are beneficial to society. Accordingly, the current study aimed to identify: - The level of ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence applications among students in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences. - Differences in the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence applications among students in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences according to gender (male-female). To achieve the research objectives, a scale was built to measure the moral dimensions of artificial intelligence applications based on (Lenca, Vaqena, 2019, Jobin). The scale was presented to a number of referees in the field of psychology and education. The researcher then conducted an analysis of the paragraphs of the scale of moral dimensions of artificial intelligence applications by extracting the discriminatory power of the paragraphs. The stability of the scale was also verified, as the stability reached the split-half method (0.86). The extracted score is estimated to be for half of the scale, which was corrected using the Spearman-Brown corrective equation. The value of the correlation coefficient after correction reached (0.89). After that, the scale was applied to the current research sample. After completing the application, the researcher used appropriate statistical methods to analyze the data, and the research results showed the following
