Abstract

The importance of the study lies in the fact that it presents an image of this science, which is considered one of the branches of American cultural anthropology. Linguistic anthropology has studied and analyzed the language of society in an effort to reach the cultural and cognitive structure that makes up the social fabric.

The research falls under the title (Linguistic Anthropology), which is one of the modern linguistic humanities that emerged in the second half of the nineteenth century.

I divided the research into two sections, preceded by an introduction. In the first section, I presented (the anthropological concept, linguistic anthropology, and the sections of language therein, in addition to presenting the historical stages through which the anthropology of language passed), and in the second section, I presented (the relationship between culture and language, and between language and the cultural symbol). It presented a model for the study of the anthropologist (Lévi-Strauss) in the field of anthropological linguistics, and then the conclusion came to show the results reached by the research
