Abstract

This study aims at identifying school bullying and its relationship to speech anxiety among the primary school students in the Kalar District, Sulaimaniyah Governorate. It also seeks to determine statistically significant differences based on gender (male, female). The researcher employed a descriptive correlational research design, suitable for the nature of this study. A sample of 400 students from primary schools was selected. The researcher developed a school bullying scale consisting of three dimensions: verbal bullying, physical bullying, and social bullying. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher adopted Al-Akidi's (2013) scale for speech anxiety. Validity and reliability were established using statistical methods such as chi-square, Pearson correlation, one-sample t-test, and t-test for two independent samples. The results revealed a statistically significant difference in school bullying and speech anxiety among the sample. Additionally, there was a statistically significant difference between males and females in terms of school bullying, with males exhibiting higher levels. Conversely, females exhibited higher levels of speech anxiety. A significant correlation was found between school bullying and speech anxiety
