مجلة انسانية متخصصة تنبع من حاجة المجتمع المتحضر لتحقق اهدافها في مجال التأليف والبحث والتوثيق العلمي للتدريسين والباحثين لنشر الفكر المتجدد الذي يستفيد منه المتخصصون وطلاب العلم علما انها اسست عام 1997 واصدرت ( 99) تسعة وتسعين عدداً . حاصلة على

حين تتحول الكلمات والافكار والتطلعات العلمية الى مشاريع قائمة على ارض الواقع . يشعر الانسان ازاءها بنوع من الفخر والاعتزاز وبكثير من الاهتمام والجدية الذي يكمن وراءهما الشعور بالمسؤولية الكبيرة خاصة في مجال البحث العلمي.

ومن هذا المنطلق ولتفعيل دور المؤسسة الاكاديمية في ترجمة اهداف الجامعة في التعليم العالي وبشكل عام استحدثت كلية التربية - ديالى؛ وكانت تابعة الى الجامعة المستنصرية ؛ وكانت آنذاك بإدارة الاستاذ المساعدالدكتور سعد محمود شكر المشهداني أول رئيس للتحرير كونه عميدا لكلية التربية –إذاستقبلت المجلة في حينها البحوث الانسانية والعلمية ..فضلا عن نشر المجلة اول مؤتمر علمي للكلية كان ذلك عام 1998 اذ كانت المجلة آنذاك تسمى بمجلة ديالى للبحوث العلمية والتربوية , واصل خلالها نخبة خيرة من التدريسين مثلوا هيئات التحرير لهذه المجلة المحكمة ليصدر عنها أعداد تجمع التخصصات العلمية والانسانية في الوقت نفسه . وقد سميت المجلة باسمها الحالي مجلة ديالى للبحوث الانسانية بعد ان تم شطر كلية التربية عام 2008 الى كليتين هما التربية الاصمعي والتربية الرازي حيث عنيت مجلة ديالى للبحوث الانسانية – التي تصدرها كلية التربية للعلوم الانسانية بهذا الحقل من المعرفة لتلافي التداخل بين التخصصات وتحقيق الرصانة العلمية اذ ضمنت ستة اقسام تنضوي تحت تخصصات لغوية وتربوية وانسانية , رئيس هيأة تحريرها الان الاستاذ الدكتور نصيف جاسم محمد الخفاجي؛ وقد شهدت تطوراً واضحاً في إدارته لها بالتعاون مع مدير التحرير الاستاذ الدكتور علاء حسين عليوي البدراني، والسيدات والسادة اعضاء هيأة التحرير.

اهداف المجلة:

تهدف مجلة ديالى للبحوث الانسانية الى الاستمرار في ادامتها وتطويرها وتعزيزها مع مد الجسور مع القراء المعنيين بما يخدم اهداف المجلة كونها مجلة متخصصة انسانية تنبع من حاجة المجتمع المتحضر؛ لتحقيق اهدافها في مجال التأليف والبحث والتوثيق العلمي للتدريسيين والأكاديميين لنشر الفكر المتجدد الذي يستفيد منه المتخصصون وطلاب العلم باعتبارها رافدا من روافد المعرفة والكلمةالفاعلة في مجال بناء الفكر العلمي والانساني بفروعه الانسانية المختلفة.

رسالة المجلة ورؤيتها:

تبذل المجلة كل المساعي لتحقيق رسالة صادقة تجعل من مجلداتها الصادرة منبرا علميا له صدى محلي واقليمي تلبي نشر جميع الابحاث والمعالجات والافكار والابواب الجديدة الواردة فيها ( بعد مرورها بتحكيم عادل وموضوعي قبل النشر ) حاجة الاطراف الفاعلة في مجال التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي وهم التدريسيون وطلبة العلم .ليتعرفوا على كل ماهو جديد ونافع في مجالات المعرفة الانسانية لخدمة المجتمع وتنمية مهاراته الفكرية.

توجه المجلة الدعوة الى جميع الاساتذة والمتخصصين المعنيين بشؤون البحث العلمي الانساني للمساهمة في رفد هذه المجلة بالبحوث والدراسات والآراء والملاحظات من اجل النهوض بها علميا و تحقيق رسالتها السامية لان مؤازرتهم هي السبيل الى التطور الامثل. 

Specialized Humanities- oriented  Journal emanates from the need of the sophisticated society to achieve its objectives in the field of authorship, research, and scientific documentation for academics and researchers to disseminate the renewed thought from which specialists and students of knowledge benefit. When words, ideas, and scientific aspirations turn into real projects, humans feel a sense of pride, dignity, interest, and seriousness, which are rooted in the great responsibility, especially in the field of scientific research

From this perspective and to activate the role of the academic institution in converting the university's goals in higher education, the College of Education - Diyala was established. It was affiliated with Al-Mustansiriya University. At that time, it was under the administration of Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Mahmoud Shakir Al-Mashhadani, the first editor-in-chief as the dean of the College of Education. The journal then received  humanities  and pure scientific oriented research studies, in addition to publishing the first scientific conference proceedings of the college in 1998 when the journal was then called the Diyala Journal for Scientific and Educational Research. It enlisted a distinguished elite of academics as editorial boards for this refereed journal, issuing volumes that encompassed  scientific and humanities  disciplines research simultaneously. The journal was named its current name, the Diyala Journal for  Human Studies, after splitting the College of Education in 2008 into two colleges: Al-Asma'i College of Education and Al-Razi College of Education. The Diyala Journal for Human Studies, issued by the College of Education for Humanities, was focused on this field of knowledge to avoid overlap between disciplines and achieve scientific consistency. It included six sections falling under linguistic, educational, and human disciplines. Currently, the editor-in-chief is Professor Dr. Naseef Jassim Mohammed Al-Khafaji. His tenure has witnessed a clear development in its management, in collaboration with the managing editor, Professor Dr. Alaa Hussein Aliwi Al-Badrani, and the members of the editorial board

The Objectives of the Journal:

The Diyala Journal for Human Studies aims to continue, develop, and enhance itself while bridging with the readers interested in serving its objectives as a specialized humanities- oriented  journal arising from the needs of the sophisticated society. It aims to achieve its goals in the field of authorship, research, and scientific documentation for educators and academics to disseminate the renewed thought from which specialists and students of knowledge benefit, considering it a tributary of effective knowledge and discourse in the field of building scientific and human thought in its various humanities-oriented  branches.

The Journal's Message and Vision:

The journal exerts all efforts to achieve a sincere message that makes its published volumes a scientific platform with a local and regional echo that meets the publication of all research, handlings, ideas, and new horizons included in it (after undergoing fair and objective review before publication) for the active parties in the fields of higher education and scientific research, namely professors and students, to acquaint them with everything new and beneficial in the fields of human knowledge to serve the community and develop its intellectual skills.

The journal invites all professors and specialists interested in humanities-oriented research to contribute to enriching this journal with research, studies, opinions, and observations to advance it scientifically and achieve its noble mission as their support is the path to optimal development.
